A multi stake holder program initiated by IDF in 2009-10 among rural poor in 12 villages of Kunigal taluk of Tumkur in partnership with Hivos, SBI, NABARD and VIRF has been horizontally and vertically expanded in Kunigal and Gubbi taluks. The program focuses on providing a basket of services to the financially excluded sections for developing their capacities in sustainable livelihoods (farm and nonfarm based) and, financial literacy and prudent financial practices.
